About Me

I’m Mili! I’m an artist/illustrator based in the Philippines. Commercially, I do a lot of anime/manga illustrations, graphic design, and everything in between as I like to explore different mediums (from traditional to digital) and hone my craft of expressing an idea in art form.In between creative jobs that pay the bill, I delve into my own personal work, which is inspired by the relation between faith and humanity; humanity and society—pop-culture and Filipino heritage. My body of work reflects a journey of discoveries, struggles and experiences as I aim to create art that tells a story filled with scriptural values, principles, and truth in a whimsical manner that evokes a sense of wonder.I aspire to create art that asks; art that wonders—what if?In the mundane, I like to listen to music, travel and stay home, read a book, listen to podcasts, drink coffee, shop for things I don't need, spend time with people, gather new perspectives, grow as a person, and wonder what soundtrack would play as I go on my day.
